It’s such a thrill to finally introduce you to the members of our Advisors Circle! I was blown away by the incredible response we received—there were so many talented applicants, and narrowing it down was no easy task. But I truly enjoyed every single application, and it was an absolute joy to get to know all of you better. Thank you to everyone who applied—it’s clear how much passion and creativity exists within this community. I wish I could have included everyone, but I had to settle on a select group.

While I can’t choose everyone this time around, I want to emphasize that every member of this community plays a vital role in shaping our shared experience. If you have ideas for blog posts or projects you’d like to contribute, I’d absolutely love to hear from you! Here are some ways you can connect with me: Join our private Facebook groups (Liesl + Co. Friends or Oliver + S Friends) where you can share your projects and thoughts. Feel free to email me with suggestions or ideas for blog posts, and let me know if you’re interested in contributing content—you can reach me at [your email]. Follow us on Instagram (@oliverands and the brand-new @lieslandco) and tag us in your posts using #oliverands, #lieslandco, or #sewlisette. Our discussion forums are another great resource, especially if you have questions about patterns—there’s a wealth of information and answers archived there. Don’t forget about Pinterest, Flickr (we have accounts for Oliver + S, Liesl + Co., and SewLisette), and of course, signing up for our newsletter (where you can opt to have blog posts delivered straight to your inbox). We value your input and want to make sure everyone feels welcome and included here. After all, it takes a village!
Without further ado, let me introduce you to our Advisors Circle members. I ended up selecting 12 individuals because it was just too difficult to pare down the list any further. I hope you’ll join me in welcoming them—they’re an inspiring group, and I’m thrilled to work alongside them to learn from each other. Each member wrote a brief introduction, and here they are:
---
**Emily**: Hi everyone! I’m Emily, and I adore sewing for my two daughters and myself. My dream is to branch out and sew more for my husband—starting with something other than lounge pants! I stumbled upon sewing during a particularly sleepless period as a new stay-at-home mom in southeastern Idaho. A friend helped me sew my first skirt, and I fell in love with the process. Sewing has been a source of comfort and creativity for me, and I’m so excited to be part of the Liesl + Co. Advisors Circle. I’ve learned so much from Oliver + S and Lisette patterns and can’t wait to keep growing.

**Claire**: Hello! I’m Claire, and I’m thrilled to be joining the Advisors Circle. Originally from Scotland, I now call the beautiful Seattle area home. I’ve been sewing for about two years now and consider myself an advanced beginner. My style is eclectic—I sew everything from casual staples to special occasion dresses, and I’m always drawn to bold geometric prints. I’m working on whittling down my fabric stash this year. Outside of sewing, I enjoy movies, wine nights with friends, and triathlon training. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I spent 20 years as a journalist and editor in the energy and gaming industries. You can follow my sewing adventures on Belle Citadel and Instagram. Nice to meet you!

**Elisabeth Larsen**: Hi everyone! I’m Elisabeth, and I live in Pleasant Grove, Utah. You can find me on Instagram under @elisabeth.larsen. Sewing has become a true passion for me, whether it’s creating pieces for myself or my three kids. I love experimenting with patterns and learning new techniques. Recently, I’ve added ruffles to the Recital Shirt and incorporated a placket from another pattern into the School Bus Tee to make a henley. When I’m not sewing, I’m usually cooking, reading, exercising, or solving crossword puzzles. Sewing brings me immense joy, and I’m thrilled to be part of this community.

**Lori**: Hi, I’m Lori, and I’ve been blogging since 2006 under the name Girls in the Garden. My favorite thing to sew is clothing, mostly for myself, occasionally for my daughter, and increasingly for my growing number of grandchildren. Sewing began as a school project, but my mom truly nurtured my love for it. She’d sew and sew, only to rip out my mistakes—and it was the best encouragement ever! I also blog at Mood Sewing Network and am grateful to be part of this vibrant online community. Now, I’m honored to be part of the Liesl + Co. Advisors Circle. I’ve been a fan of Oliver + S patterns for years and love the quality and style they bring to my wardrobe.

**Meredith**: Hi, I’m Meredith, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Advisors Circle! I’ve been sewing for over eight years, and I love diving into all aspects of the craft. I started with quilting but quickly realized how impractical it would be to make one every couple of months. That’s when I discovered Oliver + S patterns and fell in love with Liesl Gibson’s designs. Sewing garments for my family has become my greatest joy. I blog about my sewing adventures at Olivia Jane Handcrafted and share more candid updates on Instagram. I’m excited to collaborate with Liesl and learn even more in 2018.

And there’s much more to come about the rest of our Advisors Circle members. Stay tuned as we continue to celebrate this incredible group and all they bring to the table. Let’s make this year one filled with creativity, growth, and inspiration!
