Short polyester prices have risen to around 10,000 yuan per ton, but trading volume remains light. Outside dealers are quoting short polyester at 9,900 yuan per ton, with slightly better turnover.

Sinopec's short polyester was priced at 10,200 yuan per ton, while polyester chips were trading between 9,500 and 9,600 yuan per ton. This week, the mainstream price for polyester staple in the Southwest textile market remained between 9,900 and 10,000 yuan per ton.
