From September 13 to 15, the 15th Jiangsu International Fashion Festival was held at the Nanjing International Expo Center. More than 10 textile and garment companies in Changzhou were unveiled.

In the first half of this year, the output value of enterprises above designated size in textiles and garments in Changzhou was 38.32 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%. The city’s textile and apparel industries mainly include apparel textiles, industrial textiles, clothing, and textile machinery. The total output value ranks among the top four in the province.

Hutang Textile & Garment City has been exhibiting for more than 10 consecutive years. This year's exhibitors clearly felt signs of market recovery. At the exhibition site, Textile City Party Branch ** Jia Guojian said: “This year, our textile and clothing companies have significantly increased electricity use and gas use.” From January to August this year, the value of sales of Hutang Textile City was approximately RMB 20 billion. The growth rate was 14% year-on-year, and it is expected that the annual sales will reach 25 billion yuan.

Some products have replaced the existing manual labor with automatic production lines. The number of personnel has been reduced from more than 1,000 last year to more than 400 now. Compared with last year, sales did not decrease, but sales from January to August achieved more than 100 million yuan.
