Counting Top Ten Art Exhibitions in 2010

Stop and review before moving on. The art of rivers and lakes in 2010 was reviewed as a main course. Chu Teh-Chun and Wu Guanzhong's masterweight retrospective exhibitions show the two artists who have been present at the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts for nearly 90 years. In particular, the death of Wu Lao has made his retrospective exhibition even more memorable. However, Fang Lijun and Xu Bing and others rely on the previous market effect to continue to play Yu Wei. Parallel to the retrospective exhibition, there are personal works published by the artist, among which the classic debut is Fang Lijun.

However, in the world of art, in addition to the appearance of old-fashioned star artists, it is very difficult. For a long time, star artists insisted that their symbolic creation has been questioned. In 2010, this question still exists. Concomitant with this questioning is the appeal of "new" art for young artists who have creativity and vitality. After all, the process of art is constantly discovering and constantly pushing new ones. Art, phenomena, and people are all new.

1. Zhu Dequn's retrospective exhibition

Location: China Art Museum

Time: March 4-30, 2010

At the age of 90, Chu Teh-chun returned. For the first time in this year's China Retrospective Exhibition, Zhu Dequn’s achievements in all aspects including oil painting, ink painting, calligraphy, ceramics and other fields were fully displayed. Among them, the portrait of Madame Zhu Dequn is a representative of the 20-year classical realistic paintings of the portrait of Jingzhao, and works such as "Quiet" and "Thanks to Nikolai de Starr" are proof of their ability to blend Chinese and Western skills.

Consultant comments: Chu Teh-chun represents an era. He did not go according to the Western narrative, but instead translated Chinese aesthetic experience. Zhu Dequn's retrospective is an important analysis of the Chinese abstract art lineage.

Oral: Huang Wei

2. Mulleh Huizhi Exhibition

Location: Art Beauty ** Gallery

Time: March 6 to April 17, 2010

In 1931, German female artist Müller Huizhi was introduced to China by Mr. Lu Xun for the first time, which greatly influenced the development of Chinese modern printmaking. After Muller Huizhi’s first exhibition in China in 1979, his work reflecting the series of textile workers' uprisings and wars was once again demonstrated. The fans of Zeng Huizhi’s “fans” Zeng Fanzhi and Tan Yiping’s contemporary artists of the same stage “present art” are wonderful dialogues between two generations of artists through time and space.

Consultant Comments: The works of Muller Huizhi mainly reflect the lives of the lower people. The significance of this exhibition is not painting, but the basic dignity of people expressed in the works of Muller Huizhi.

Oral: Jia Fangzhou

Location: Today Art Museum

Time: September 19 to October 24, 2010

As the Chinese version of the documentary exhibition in Kassel, Germany, today's document exhibition is the second. The topic of the literature is very academic. Zhang Xiaogang and other Chinese artists will jointly discuss the "regulator" with international artists. At the same time, contemporary art in China, Europe, the United States, and Latin America has fully demonstrated the relationship between Chinese contemporary art and international art trends.

Consultant Comments: Art as a "regulator" to negotiate, this curatorial concept is very good. The contemporary society is not a society but a society that regulates and negotiates, and the function of art is also true. Oral: Wang Chunchen

This time for the new show to return to their homeland, 26 paintings recorded the faces of these Jincheng boys, their respective families and the current state of reality.
